MH17: Het verdriet van Nederland

A documentary by director Michiel van Erp about the collective grief that gripped the entire Netherlands when all passengers on flight MH17 perished. What does it mean when a loved one dies in an event that has deeply affected the entire country, that you share so many fellow sufferers, and that you are comforted by the King and Queen and the Prime Minister? The film portrays victims and surviving relatives, but also people who made significant contributions to the many complexities surrounding the search for the victims, the return of the remains, and the ceremonies that followed.
